With its entry off Little Bourke Street, Dae Jang Geum Korean BBQ is Midtown’s portal to Chinatown. A large, open mess hall style dining room greets you at the top of the stairs where you will be seated at one of the many tables, complete with hotplate ready to sizzle your own BBQ platter or Hot Pot. A large menu boasts several options for diners, from traditional Korean BBQ of beef, chicken or pork that you cook yourself at your table, to pre-prepared Korean soup based dishes, Kim chi stew or hot pot – all prepared in house. A great range of sauces and marinades teams up with various Kim chi options – also made in house – to accompany your BBQ.
